Robert E. Best
Robert E. Best, 73, of Licking Township, Emlenton, died of natural causes at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at his residence.
Born Feb. 1, 1932, in Richburg, N.Y., he was the son of the late Jasper J. and Mabel Black Best. He was the last remaining member of his immediate family.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Best was employed by Glass Containers in Parker for several years. He then went to work for PennDOT as a construction inspector, working there until his retirement.
He next owned and operated the Happy Hour Bar and Restaurant in Parker for several years.
Mr. Best was of the Protestant faith.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, Wayne Street, Parker.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
Private burial will be held Monday in St. Petersburg Cemetery, Clarion County.
