Andrew was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. He loved auto racing and he drove a stock car at the Harlan and Denison tracks. He also enjoyed golfing and hunting.
Andrew died Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at the Crawford County Hospital in Denison at the age of 30 years, four months, and two days.
Andrew is survived by his wife, Cassie Hicks of Dunlap, Iowa; parents, Bill and Gail Hicks of Dunlap, Iowa; two brothers, Will (Stephanie) Hicks of Waukee, Iowa; Chad (Tina Rudd) Hicks of Dunlap, Iowa; grandmother, Ila Hicks of Dunlap, Iowa; parents-in-law, Steve and Lisa Swenson of Ocheyedan, Iowa; four siblings-in-law, Amanda (Matt) Travaille of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Maggie (Tyler) Lloyd of Sheldon, Iowa, Stephanie Swenson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Robert Swenson of Ocheyedan, Iowa; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
