GUS LUNDT RITES SUNDAY

Gus Lundt, 55 years old, died suddenly at his home in Omaha of a heart attack last Friday. He had been at his work the day before and was just ready to go to his work when he was stricken.

Deceased was born and reared in Blair, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gus Lundt. He received his education in Blair schools.

After his marriage to Miss Verna Hoover he moved from Blair and was for years a traveling salesman. He leaves to mourn him his two children, Robert, 24 years old, who just recently received his degree from Hastings college and Patty, 21 years, at home. One son, Wm., was killed in action in 1945. Besides these he leaves two brothers, B.F. of Blair and Theodore of Omaha and one sister, Mrs. George Kellogg, of North Platte, Nebraska.

Deceased was a World War I veteran and spent some time overseas. He was vice commander of the American Legion while in Honolulu and was always active in Legion work.

At his funeral which was held at the Campbell Mortuary Father Havill of the Episcopal church officiated. Interment was made in the Blair cemetery and was in charge of the Legion who put on their impressive graveside ceremony.
