Funeral services were held at Aurora, Ill. for Bessie Eva Race on Dec 19. Interment was at Wheatland Cemetery in Wheatland, Ill.
Chapel of the Valley Mortuary was in charge of local arrangements.
Mrs Race, who was born on Aug. 11, 1886, died on Dec. 15 in Lancaster.
She is survived by her son, Eugene Race of Aurora, Ill. and a daughter, Mrs Audrey Dibble of Palmdale; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Mrs Race came to the Valley about a year ago. She had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Aurora and the Royal Neighbors of America.
