Visitation will be Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home with the funeral service at 4:30 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be Gerry Binford. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Clark Eugene "Gene" Willis; grandchildren, Troy Dean and Angela Kay Mansel; parents, Shirley and Helen Kinman; two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Cooper and Pat (Jon) Canterbury both of Huntsville, Ala.; grandchildren, Jeff (Natalie) Mansel of Saltillo, MS, Shawn (Tara) Canterbury of Ashland City, Tenn., Colby (Melissa) Canterbury of Memphis, Tenn., Jason (Annette) Mansel of Brooklyn, NY, Amy (Travis) Hunt of Madison, Ala., Kelly (Chris) Douglass of Pelham, Ala.; 13 great-grandchildren.
