NASH, Jessica Rose
Age 23, of Wheelock Ave., Athens, PA, died Thursday, December 13, 2007, at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. Jessica was born February 11, 1984 in Elmira, NY, the daughter of Bruce A. Nash and the late Sherry Ann Longstreet Nash. She attended Troy High School and Towanda High Area High School and the Northern Tier Career Center in Towanda. Jessica was formerly employed by Taylor Packing Co. in Wyalusing, the Best Western Grand Victorian Inn in Sayre, Mill's Pride in Athens Twp., and the Sayre House in Sayre. Jessica was employed by McDonald's restaurant in South Waverly, PA, at the time of her passing. She enjoyed scrapbooking, crocheting, and watching soap operas on the television. Jessica loved to clean and babysit Joanna. Jessica was a great person who got along with everyone. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her father, Bruce A. Nash of Orlando, FL; her stepfather, Ed DePue of Odessa, NY; her twin sister, Monica Jo Lange of Sayre; her sister, Shawna Nicole Nash of Sayre; maternal grandmother, Onalee Lewis and her husband, Gerald Lewis of Big Pond, PA; paternal grandparents, Grant and Margaret Nash of Orlando, FL; her boyfriend and best friend of three years, Justin McGrath of Athens. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sherry Longstreet Nash on July 4, 2001; and by her great-grandmother, Alice Orr. The funeral and committal service will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at 1 p.m. at the Alteri-Bowen Funeral Home, 314 Desmond St., Sayre, PA, with the Rev. James Donahoo, Pastor of the Sayre Christian Church, officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Big Pond Cemetery, Springfield Twp., PA.
