Elevun S. Mason, a lifelong resident of Farmington, passed away Sunday, April 25th. He was born January 6th, 1917 to George and Haidee Mason. Elevun was employed by Davidson and Leventhal until his retirement in 1980. He was an accomplished tailor and pianist as well as being an avid gardener. He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Mason, his sister Lorena Higbie and his son-in-law Steven P. Wattman. He is survived by his son, Scott Mason and his life partner Anthony Salemme of Providence, RI, his daughter Lynn Wattman of Pine Meadow, his granddaughter Halley Wattman and her partner Fitzroy R. Lewis, his great grandsons Fitzroy S. Lewis and Trystin F. Lewis of New Britain. There are no calling hours. A graveside remembrance will be held for family and friends on Wednesday (Apr. 28) at 11:00am in Riverside Cemetery, Farmington.
