Lois R. Guay of Burney Ave. passed away on July 7, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends, and the care of Hospice.
Lois was born on November 15, 1934 in Brushton, NY the daughter of Edward J. and Myrtle (Deon) Snyder. She attended Massena High School and on September 29, 1951 married Joseph R. Guay at St. Mary's Church in Massena. Joseph "Bucky" predeceased her on April 26, 1988. At one time Lois worked at Warner Brothers and later a sales clerk at Issac's Interiors, and retired from W L. Smith Hardware Store as a cashier.
Lois is survived by one son, Terry J. and wife Cheryl of Massena, four grandchildren, Christian and wife Stacey, Matthew and wife Melisa both of Massena, Megan and Adam Guay of Bay City, TX; great granddaughters, Hannah and Jamilyn. Lois's loving companion Mary Moran of 21 years, brothers and sisters, several nieces, nephews and her loyal dog Fenway Park.
Lois was predeceased by a son Kevin L. on October 8, 1999.
Lois was laid to rest on July 10, 2013 to be with her loving husband and son.
