HARLES FRANKLIN WALDROP, sixth child of Alfred Thomas "Tommie" and Bessie Ella (Radford) Waldrop, graduated from Lynn Grove & Kirksey High School in Kentucky and then went on to attend Cleveland College to obtain his degree in Interior Design.

In the years of 1941 - 1951 Charles worked as a trainee for a store manager, from 1951 - 1984 he was the Shop Foreman for Building Industrial Displays & Exhibits for trade shows. Charles retired in 1984, but keeps quite active as he enjoys early morning walks (6:30 am) of 2 1/2 miles and rides his bicycle daily for 10 miles. He enjoys working around his home as well as their daughter Judy's home, keeping things in top shape. Charles was rejected from any active military service due to a scar on his lung. Charles is a lifelong member of the United Methodist church.

On March 25, 1945 Charles married Marianne Ravnikar, daughter of Frank and Anna (Mazon) Ravnikar. Marianne graduated from Thompson High School, in Thompson, Ohio and then went on to the Felt & Tarrant Comptometer School. Marrianne worked for Stouffers in their Dieticians office from 1941 - 1942, and then worked for Elwell Parker Electric, in their Payroll Cost Accounting dept from 1942 - 1945.
