Violet Ruth Ward, 86, of Qulin, MO, Monday, July 8, 2013 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. Mrs. Ward was born March 9, 1927 in Parma, MO. In 1942 she was united in marriage to Ben Wesley Ward, Jr. He preceded her in death on November 1, 2009. Surviving are; 3 children: Doyle Parmer of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; Violet Marie Lashmet of Scott City, Mo.; and Ruth Hood of Puxico, Mo.; 1 stepdaughter; Barbara Huffman of Tennessee; 2 sisters; Mary Blakenship of Parma and Donna Ates of St. Louis; and 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son; Charles Parmer and 2 grandchildren. Visitation will begin Friday at 2:00 pm at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk.
