Widow of Grover Herron died last Friday at her home on South Market Street, Hope, age 79. She was born in Rushville, her parents from Pennsylvania about 1845. She had a bad fall a year ago. Surviving are 4 children, O. L. Herron of Chicago, Mrs. A. C. Gilliland of Hope, Mrs. William Abbott of Goshen, William R. Herron of Norfolk, Virginia; 25 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a sister Mrs. Kate Burslinger of Indianapolis; a half sister Mrs. Bert Miller, of New York City; 2 half brothers John Stam of Hope and R. D. Stam of Columbus. Funeral service was Tuesday at the Hope Moravian Church where she was a member conducted by Rev. F. G. Fulmer
