Valerie D. Garland
WOODRUFF, SC-- Valerie Dawn Garland , 31, of 1700 Kilgore Bridge Road, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.
A native of Laurens County, she was the daughter of the Dianne Hautamaki Garland of the home and the late Randall Garland. Valerie was a 1996 graduate of the Woodruff High School and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Surviving are the Maternal Grandmother JoAnn Taylor Hautamaki of Woodruff and the late Eugene Hautamaki. Paternal Step- grandfather, Wilbur "Bill "Taylor of Woodruff and the Late Charlie C. and Dorothy Banks Garland Taylor. Aunts and Uncles; Mr. & Mrs. Jeff Lanford, Mr. & Mrs. Tony Kitchens, Mr. & Mrs. Ray Cooper all of Woodruff and Mr. & Mrs. Gary Hautamaki of South Port, NC. Family dogs, Tommy and Jasmine.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 21, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. at the Lanford Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Frankie Taylor and Rev. Fred Quidley. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:45 P.M. prior to the service. Interment services will be at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.
