Vincent Warren Henderson, a resident and tenth generation Mobile, Alabamian, passed on Friday, July 5, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jean-Paul Henderson; his parents, Oliver Henderson, Sr., and Autherine Platt Henderson; three brothers, Ambrose, Norwood and Marvin Henderson; two sisters, Avril Henderson Lindsey, and Paulette Henderson Garrett.
The Rosary will be recited immediately prior to the Celebration of Life Mass for Vincent Warren Henderson. The Celebration of Life Mass will be held at Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception at 10 A.M. on Friday, July 12, 2013. Interment will follow at the Alabama Veterans Cemetery, in Spanish Fork, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Vincent Henderson Memorial Scholarship Fund for the Culinary Arts. Donations may be sent to Bishop State Community College, c/o Office of the President, 351 North Broad Street, Mobile, Alabama 36603, (251) 405-7084.
