Grace Marie Martin Stevens was born on May 15, 1918 to parents William Lee Martin and Emma Lou Wilson Martin in Jacksboro, Texas. She was one of 7 children.
She married Loyd Henry Stevens on May 16, 1936.
Grace will be remembered for her beautiful smile and great sense of humor. She was a loving mother to her only child, Nancy and loved her grandchildren, Taylor and Trent beyond words. She was loved by all who knew her; nieces, nephews, and friends whose lives were blessed many times over because of her love for them. We will miss her, but know she is rejoicing in Heaven with her husband and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters and loving husband, Loyd Henry Stevens. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Stevens Heady , her grandchildren, Jace Taylor Heady and Kristen Stacy, Trenton Dane Heady and wife Sarah.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday June 4, 2013 at Dilbeck Cemetery in Peaster, Texas.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in her name to Howard Payne University Annual Scholarship Fund, P. O. Box 2637, Brownwood, Texas 76804.
