Hollis H. Childers, 81, of Farmerville, LA died Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Farmerville Nursing & Rehab in Farmerville, LA. He was born March 12, 1932 in Hampton, Arkansas. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for Huttig Public Schools and he also served in the Army during the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin G. Childers and Ollie Mae Strickland Childers; wives, Mattie L. Griffis Childers and Ouida Antley Childers; one son, Walter Hollis Childers; one sister, Nell Robbins; and one brother, Grady Childers. Burial will be at Salem Cemetery near Bearden.
