Mr. Evans died Tuesday in a Shreveport hospital. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. T. P. Kell, Mrs. Flora E. Bowers, Mrs. George W. Webb, all of Tallulah, and Mrs. W. B. R. Mitchell of Transylvania; a brother, Dr. W. K. Evans of Dallas, Tex.
Pallbearers were to be E. H. Fisher, Barton Sevier, Jim Sevier, I. T. Crothers, Adrain Willett, James R. Garrett, George Hedgepeth and Howard Sevier.
