Rev. Steve Haney, age 58, of Cottondale passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the V.A. hospital in Mississippi.
Steve was born August 17, 1954 in Marianna to Allmon and Mary (Yohn) Haney. A lifelong resident of the Panhandle, he served in the United States Navy for 10 years, and was also the pastor at Rock Hill Church in Chipley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Nancy Haney.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, at Rock Hill Church in Chipley with Rev. Michael Morris, Rev. Charlie Chavers and Rev. Dallon Penny officiating. Interment will follow in Sapp Church Cemetery in Cottondale with Obert Funeral Home of Chipley directing.
