Funeral services were held Saturday, October 29 at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem, with Rev. James Medlen offificiating. Burial was in the Moravian Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia of West Salem; 3 sons, Frank of Kansas, IL; Lee Roy of Abilene, Tx., and Gilbert of West Salem; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Elsie Hopper, Mrs. Laura Wiseman and Mrs. Flora Parks, all of West Salem.
He was born January 22, 1900 in Edwards County, the son of George and Mary Deischer Barnhart. On April 7, 1928 he married Sylvia Orrel at the Lancaster parsonage. He was a member of the Little Wabash United Methodist Church.
Mr. Barnhart was a retired carpenter.
