He was a member of Miracle Temple Baptist Church, which paved the way for his spiritual growth.
He attended Hampton High School and graduated from Largo High School in Largo, MD. He was an awesome basketball player and received many accolades for his talent. He attended Virginia State University and was anziously waiting to be processed as a civilian mariner for the Military Sealift Command.
His fond memories will be cherished by his devoted parents, Linda J. Conyers, Frederick H. (Debra) Conyers, a precious daughter, Jayla Duckett, her mother, Jasmine Duckett; two loving sisters, Fredrika (Brian) Conyers-Glover and Fredrenia "Tina" Conyers; a caring brother, Shaun Conyers; a dear loving grandmother, Catherine H. Reed; three adorable nephews, Jaylen, Brian & Brice; brothers in spirit, James Gary and James Coles; a special friend, Melonie Goodman and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Frederick affectionately known as "Freddy" to his family and friends will be dearly missed.
Viewing will be held 12noon to 7p.m. Thursday, July 14, at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held 12 noon Friday, July 15, at Miracle Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Floyd Blackwell and Rev. Dr. Danny Conyers officiating. Interment will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
