Born June 11, 1954 in Wichita, KS; passed away June 24, 2013 in Sacramento, CA. While young, relocated to San Diego with parents Ruth and Donald, and older brothers Donald (Kathy) and Gary (Kathy). Married Betsi Ferrari in 1980, and was blessed with children Karli Holkko (Michael), Kari, and Kevan. Moved to Sacramento in 1991 where he made friends and many acquaintances during a career in the floor covering industry, most recently while employed with The Home Depot. Passions included boating and rock music, particularly The Beatles. Loved also his granddaughter Kaydence, extended relatives and good friends residing throughout the country. The family extends thanks to the clinical team at Kaiser Morse for the provision of compassionate care and will host a commemoration on Saturday, September 14, 2013, from 2:30 to 4:30 PM at the Effie Yeaw Nature Center.
