THOMAS BRANTMEIER

Thomas E. Brantmeier, 51, of N9379 Franklin Road, Elkhart Lake, died unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 27, 1998.
He was born Oct. 28, 1947 in Appleton, son of Mary and the late Jerome "Butch" Brantmeier. He was a graduate of Hilbert High School and the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
On Feb. 19, 1966 he married the former Mary Ellen Dohr in Hilbert.
For the past 25 years he was vice president of Aldag-Honold Mechanical, Thomas was a member of the Cedar Creek Sportsmans Club and a former member of the Elks Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter Miranda who was the "joy of his life." He also loved spending time at his cottage, boating, fishing, relaxing by the campfire and hunting and golfing.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen; his mother, Mary Brantmeier; his children, Brenda (Rick) Natrop of Greenville with daughter Miranda, Brian T. Brantmeier of Sheboygan, and Sara A. Brantmeier of Elkhart Lake. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Jane (Art) Thiel of Chilton.
Dick (Jan) Brantmeier of Sheboygan, Donald (Marianne) Brantmeier of Chilton, Linda (Ted) Schaffer of Hilbert, and David (Debbie) Brantmeier of Hilbert.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome "Butch" Brantmeier.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1 at S.S. Peter and Pal Catholic Church, Kiel , with the Rev. Loren Nys S.D.S. and the Rev. M. Jeff Wocken, S.D.S. concelebrating. Friends may call at the Mesielwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, 815 Sixth St., Kiel, from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, when we will have brief family rites and the procession to church.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
