Patricia Alice (Lombard) Horrigan, 79 of Athol, died Thursday, July 4, 2013, surrounded by her four children, in the Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol, MA.

She was born in Athol, MA, on February 14, 1934, the daughter of the late Cornelius and the late Martha (Wilcox) Lombard. She was predeceased by her brother, John Lombard.

She graduated from Athol High School in 1952. Patricia was a registered nurse and attended St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing in Worcester MA. Patricia graduated in the class of 1955. She worked at Athol Memorial Hospital for 19 years in the OBS/Maternity Department.

She was then employed with the Athol Community Health Services Agency doing home nursing as well as a Public Health nurse. Patricia was the owner & administrator of the former Tully Brook Rest Home for 7 years. She finished her career as a staff nurse & counselor at the Leominster Detox. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and secretary for the Town of Athol's Democratic Committee.

Patricia enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, family gatherings, her dog Seamus, politics and a good joke.

Burial in Silver Lake Cemetery.
