Gary L. Washburn Sr., aged 60, of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Darrell and Mary and nephew, Brian. He is survived by his children, Gary Washburn Jr., Mary Jane Washburn, Emily Washburn and fiance, Christopher; grandchildren, Kaileigh Rae, Brianna, Naomi, Karissa; brothers and sister, Dale Michael (Bonnie) Washburn, Sharon (Brent) Hulburt, John (Kim) Washburn; nieces and nephews, Charlene, Matthew Stephanie, Richard, Brent, Erin and Addison. Gary retired after 20 years from the U.S. Air Force as a Captain and enjoyed model airplanes. Graveside services for Gary will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at Lakeside Cemetery in Caledonia.
