DANVILLE, Va. - Sarah Catherine Clutter Fitzpatrick, formerly of Danville, died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2002, at Frederick Villa Nursing Home in Catonsville, Md. Born June 24, 1916, in Danville, she was the daughter of Eugene Clutter and Bertha Clutter.
She was married to Leo F. Fitzpatrick, who predeceased her on March 12, 1992.
She is survived by a son, Michael Douglas Fitzpatrick of Baltimore, Md.; two sisters, Gladys James of Danville and Meryle Simmons of Greensboro, N.C. and four grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Veronica Lee Brady.
The graveside funeral will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Mountain View Cemetery with Father Charles L. Breindel officiating.
Townes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
