Joshua Thomas Olson, 29, De Pere, died unexpectedly at home on August 27, 2012.

Josh was born on August 21, 1983 in Chester, MT to Greg Olson and Mary Fritsch. He graduated from Luxemburg-Casco High School and studied for two years at UW Stevens Point. Josh worked at Hometown Insulation. He loved music and sports, especially golf and enjoyed spending time with Mason.

Survivors include his father Greg Olson; mother, Mary (Tim) Fritsch; his sister Riley Olson; nephew Mason Davey; special friend Abi; grandparents Leonard (Linda) Olson, Wayne (Jean) Cooper; step-grandparents Jerome (Carol) Fritsch, his aunts, uncles, step-aunts and uncles, cousins and step-cousins. Josh will be deeply missed by his two devoted dogs, Remmy and Tessy.

Family and friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 6, 2012. Visitation will continue after 9:00 am Friday at the funeral home until the memorial service at 11:00 am with Deacon Michael VanderBloomen officiating. It has to be said that Josh was very proud of his recovery and was clean and sober up until the very moment his life was taken. Someone mistook his kindness for weakness. We all need to honor his memory.
