Billy Gene Craig

Billy Gene Craig, 86, of Greenville passed away July 8, 2013 at Hunt Regional Medical Center. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday in Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Royce Litchfield officiating. Interment will follow at Brigham Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Born October 9, 1926, in Campbell, Billy was the son of R. W. and Jesse Craig. On June 25, 1948 in Greenville, he married Dorothy Abbott. He served in the United States Navy and was retired from the Texas Department of Transportation after 40 years of employment. He was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.

His survivors include his wife of Greenville; son Michael Craig and wife Karen of Wylie;and granddaughter Kassi Craig and great-granddaughter Pyper Craig both of Greenville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Bryan Keith (B. K.) Craig.

Pallbearers will be Cliff Riggins, Bob Parsons, Amos Lowery, Kennith Kluttz, Ardis Drake and Lane Lennon.
