Sigurd - Funeral Held for Mrs. Borg
Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Borg, 41, wife of A. F. Borg, who died at her home here July 10, were conducted in the Sigurd ward chapel Saturday afternoon.
Bishop R. Harvey Dastrup was in charge. The opening prayer was by Bishop Claud Payne of Vermilion. The singing was furnished a mixed quartet. A solo, "The Perfect Day," was sung by R. Harvey Dastrup. Speakers were Samuel Gurr and I. L. Warnock. The benediction was by Charles Jones. Interment was in the Richfield cemetery.
Mrs. Borg was born May 21, 1891, in Salt Lake City, a daughter of William and Annie Simpson.
Surviving, besides her husband, are three sons, William, Eddie and Garth Borg; five daughters, June, Josie, Kathleen, Barbara and Ruth Borg; four brothers and one sister, all of whom were in attendance at the services.
