Jimmy was born in Bronson to Charlie Matthew and Madgie Ellie Palmer Conn.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 until 1959, later he became a pipeliner and was a member of Pipeliner's Union 798. Jimmy was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Bronson, Texas.
He is survived by his wife Mozelle Conn of Bronson, his son Billy Conn and his wife Susan of Bronson, his daughter Belinda Reynolds of Bronson, three grandchildren; Chris, Kelli and Jesse and his sister Fannie Clem of Beaumont, Texas.
Funeral services will be at 10am Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 520 Starr Street, Hemphil, Texas.
Burial will follow in the Gravelhill Cemetery near Hemphill, Texas.
