Mrs. Jemima Ellen Ickes was born June 11, 1838, in Buffalo County, Pa.
She passed peacefully away at 1 a.m., January 22nd, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Minchow, having reached the aged of 83 years, 7 months and 19 days.
She leaves to mourn her loss two sons, Millard, of Orchard, and James, of Venango, this state, and three daughters, Mrs. Joe Minchow of Wray, Colo.; Mrs. Fred Minchow and Mrs. Henry E. (Elizabeth) Oxley of Pleasant Dale, and thirty-one grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren
Funeral servies were held from the M.E. church at Pleasant Dale, on Thursday, conducted by Rev. Herd. Interment was made at Blue Mound cemetery at Milford.
The family thanks the friends and neighbors who have shared their sorrow and extended their sympathy in their bereavement.
