Wyatt, Melissa Ann An informal service celebrating the life of Melissa Ann Wyatt will be held 1:00 pm on Sunday, July 10, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2060 County Rd 6, Long Lake, MN.

Melissa, a 1991 graduate of Orono High School, died of heart complications on May 28, 2011, at Silverthorne, Colorado.

She is survived by her parents, brother, nephew, grandmother, uncles and many relatives and friends.

Melissa graduated from the University of Minnesota and earned a Masters Degree in landscape architecture at the University of Washington. A resident of Colorado for six years, she had been town planner for Dillon, and recently worked as a real estate appraiser for Forsythe Appraisals.

Melissa was a free spirit who loved many outdoor activities including snowboarding, skiing, hiking, motorcycle riding, and sailing. She enjoyed volunteering for the "Birds of Prey" Colorado ski series and was also active at the Renaissance Festival.
We will miss her great smile, intellect, loyalty, and love of children and animals. A brief luncheon will follow immediately at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Animal Humane Society.
