Clara Rogers Bryant, 75, died Wednesday, April 12, 2006. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2006, at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, Ala. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2006, at Akins Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Officiating at the service will be Brother James McCullar.
She is survived by daughters, Carolyn Jones and husband, Billy, Spruce Pine, Ala., Sandra Bryant Dupree and husband, Charles, Angier, N.C.; Tina Bryant Rosekrans and husband, Tim, Angier, N.C.; Ginger Pace and husband, Randy, Russellville, Ala.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Melvin Lee Bryant; sons, William Lee Bryant, Donnie Ray Bryant, Rayburn Junior Bryant; parents, Thomas and Maudie Rogers; six brothers and sisters; two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will include Joshua Tabbert, Kasey Garrison, Ricky Jones, Doug Williams, Greg Williams and Jo Jackson.
She was a member of the Baptist church.
