EDGAR BRIDGE


Services for Edgar Bridge, 66, were
conducted Tuesday, July 5, at 2 p.m.
at the Church of Christ in Neligh. The
Rev. Ronald Mortensen officiated and
burial was in Laurel Hill cemetery in
Neligh.
Mr. Bridge was born July 26, 1910
to Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Bridge and died
Friday, July 1 at an Omaha hospital.
On June 26, 1932, he married Anona
Boschult.
He was graduated from Tilden High
School and lived his entire life in
the Neligh and Tilden communities. He
farmed in the Tilden area for 17 years
before moving to Neligh where he
farmed until his retirement in 1970.
He was a member of the Church of
Christ.
Survivors includ his widow, Anona;
two sons, Merle and Bud, both of
Neligh; two brothers, LaForrest of
Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Geno of
Goldfield, Wash.; two sisters, Elsie
Lewes of Ellensburg, Wash., and Ruth
Wilson of Spokane, Wash.; four grand
children, nieces and nephews.
