Richard Christophers was an assistant in the Colony of Connecticut and Judge of the County Court and Court of Probates in New London.

Richard CHRISTOPHERS was the son of Christopher Christophers and Mary Berry.

He first married Lucretia BRADLEY, daughter of Peter Bradley and Elizabeth Brewster, b. 16 Aug 1661 in New London, CT, d. 12 Jan 1691 in New London, CT (cemetery unknown). They had 4 sons and 2 daughters.
Their children were:
Christopher CHRISTOPHERS (2 Dec 1682 - 5 Feb 1728)
Richard CHRISTOPHERS (ca 18 Aug 1685 - 16 Jan 1735-36)
Peter CHRISTOPHERS (18 Jul 1687 - 2 Oct 1709)
John CHRISTOPHERS (15 Mar 1689 - 1716).

He married second to Grace TURNER (Lucretia's first cousin). She was the daughter of Elder John Turner and Mary Brewster. Lucretia and Grace are descendants of Mayflower passenger William Brewster.
