He spent his early years in Seminole and Pottawatomie Counties. In 1919 he married Dora Lee Keller and to this union 4 children were born; sons, Leo, Alonso, Junior and a daughter Ruth. After the death of his wife dora he brought his small children and lived with his parents in the Blanchard area where he and his father farmed together for many years. In 1976 he married Pearl Ryder and they spent happy times together travelling and visiting relatives. He is survived by his loving wife Pearl, one son, one daughter, one step-son, six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, one brother, two sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held on Friday, June 5, 1992 at the Pentecostal Holiness church with the Rev. Paul Holmes officiating. Burial was held in the Blanchard Cemetery under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard, Oklahoma.
