William Henry Daffron,65,2306 Jefferson Ave.,died this morning at 4 a.m. in St. Benedict's Hospital - after an illness, Mr. Daffron was an engine foreman for the Ogden Union Railway and Depot Co. and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He was a member of Ogden Lodge 719, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, for 33 years. He also belonged to Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen Lodge 293, and Union Pacific Old Timers' Lodge No. 6. He was born May 6, 1890, in Vincennes, Ind., a son of William and Elizabeth Convery Daffron.

At the age of 17 he moved to nthe Northwest where he spent 10 years.He came to Ogden in September, 1922, and had resided here since. He married Marguerite Smith. Survivors include his widow, Ogden; two sons and a daughter,William B. Daffron and Mrs.Phillip (Pauline) Parsons, both of Ogden; Chief Pharmacists Mate Robert M. Daffron. Formosa; three grandchildren: a brother and two sisters, Michael Daffron and Mrs. Emma Young,both of Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. Edith Draime, Mobile,Ala,
