She was a lifetime member of the Urban Garden Club of Brunswick and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Brunswick and the Ladies Social Circle of the Church. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are two sons, Houson C. Atkins of Satsuma, Fla.,and Bobby L. Akins of Statesboro; eighty grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, Graveside service: 11 a.m. Tuesday in Powers Cemetery in Hawkinsville.
