THOMAS GERARD, an illegitimate and only son of WILLIAM GERARD, of the New Hall in Ashton-in Makerfield in the county of Lancashire, England, was born circa 1540/1, in Lancashire County, England. His Last Will & Testament was probated 12 January 1628/9 and he is buried at Winwick Parish Cemetery.

He married first GRACE.

THOMAS GERARD and GRACE had only one son, JOHN GERARD.
