Funeral services for Raymond Hollmeyer, 59, Muncie fireman who died unexpectedly at his home, 3120 S. Monroe St. Saturday, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Parson Mortuary with Dr. Arthur W. McDavitt, Fire Department chaplain, officiating. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery.
Fire department members will serve as active pallbearers and other members of the department as an honor guard.
Mr. Hollmeyer was born in Newport, Ky. He had resided in Muncie for the past 55 years. Previously he was active in the Republican party and served as Precinct 22 committeeman for several years. Mr. Hollmeyer was a World War I Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; a daughter, Mrs. Donna Fallis of Mich.; three grandsons; a brother, Earl, Muncie; and a sister, Mrs. Julie Meder, Muncie.
Friends may call at the residence after 4 p.m. Monday.
