Mrs. Everett was a lifelong resident of Scott Co. She was a homemaker for many years before starting a career in the grocery business as a store clerk in 1975. She worked for K and K Grocery 9 years and also Edward and Son Grocery 17 years before retiring in 2001. She attended Crossroads Baptist Church until she became disabled. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and arranging flowers. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Louise Kersh, and her husband, William "Billy" D. Everett. She is survived by her children, William "Bill" H. Everett of Laurel, and Kevin J. (Anna) Everett of Morton; sister, Patsy (Lee) Kelly of Branch; grandchildren, William H. H. Everett and Hannah E. Everett.
