George Albert Shaver, 71, formerly of New Boston, Texas, died Sunday, July 10, 2005, in a Branson, Mo., hospital. Mr. Shaver was born November 6, 1933, in New Boston. Survivors include two sons, Gary Dale Shaver and Jeffery Lynn Shaver of Branson; one daughter, Shirley Kennedy of New Boston; three brothers, James Shaver, Darrel Shaver and Leslie Shaver of New Boston; two sisters, Vonda Clark and Mary Son of DeKalb; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Red Bayou Cemetery, New Boston with the Rev. Otto Hilton officiating. Burial will be under direction of East Funeral Home, Moores Lane.
