Henry grew up and attended schools in
Belleville, KS, graduating from Belleville
High School in 1955. Following his
graduation, he served with the U.S. Army
for two years at Ft. Bliss-El Paso, TX.
He returned to Courtland where he worked
as a blacksmith, in 1969 he began work
with the Rock Island RR in Herington until
1981, when he became an insurance agent in
Herington. In 1984, he returned to Belleville,
KS, where he worked as a book keeper
for Walthers Oil in Cuba for several
years until his retirement.
On November 7, 1964 he was united
in marriage to Arlene Kathrineberg
and they were blessed with two
daughters, Lisa and Lori.
He was preceded in death by his
parents, his wife, Arlene; and two brother-
Harry is survived two daughters Lisa and
husband Kent; and Lori and husband Rick;
two sisters, Wynona and husband Gene), and
Geraldine Beames; 7 grandchildren;
two sister-in-laws; one brother in law and
other relatives and many friends.
