Margaret Katherine Reese Hinson, age 60, of Hwy. 701 South, died at her residence.
Mrs. Hinson was born in Conway, a daughter of the late Harold Saxton and Margaret Johnson Reese. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Conway, was a 1971 graduate of Conway High School and received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of South Carolina. Mrs. Hinson retired from the Horry County School District as an Elementary School Teacher.
Surviving are her husband, Benjamin O. "Benny" Hinson of Conway, one daughter, Mary Katherine Brown (Joey) of Conway, two grandchildren, Sawyer Brown and Aubrie Brown, one sister, Martha Reese Reaves (Tommy) of Conway and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with Rev. Ken Land officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Swamp United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
