Brian pursued a career in the United States Navy after graduating from high school in 1968. He was so proud when he made Chief Warrant Officer in 1983. He absolutely enjoyed serving his country in the Navy. After retiring in 1988, the family moved to California so he could pursue a career in real estate. He lived there for 7 years before moving back to Rochester to be closer to family. Upon moving back he took a job at Neslab in Newington NH and worked there for 10 years before retiring in 2006. He enjoyed working on cars in his younger years and still could educate you on almost anything. He was very funny and smart and could always make people laugh with his jokes. He enjoyed camping, was very friendly, and would talk to anyone that walked by. He had a seasonal camping site at Apple Valley campground in Acton ME where he made many friends with whom he still kept in touch.
Brian leaves behind his wife of 41 years, Glenna (Giguere) Nickerson; daughters Bethany and husband Shane Skaggs of Yuma AZ, and Lori Boisvert of Gonic NH; son Ketih and wife Amy Nickerson of Gonic; and precious grandchildren Devon, Hunter, Aiden, Samantha, and Logan.
