Marvin D. Gunderson, 72, Blackduck, died Sunday, December 28, 1986, at North Country Hospital.
Marvin was born July 25, 1914 in Inez, Beltrami County, Minnesota. He married Florentine Fladung on April 11, 1942 in Blackduck. He was a veteran of World War II where he served as a TEC 3 Medic in the U.S. Army. Later, he owned and operated a service station in Blackduck where he worked as a mechanic until retirement. He was a member of the Blackduck American Legion and was a trustee at St. Ann's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, a daughter, five grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters
