The funeral service for Hazel B. Taylor of Paris was at 1 p.m. Sunday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Wesley Jackson officiated. Burial followed in Sanders Chapel Cemetery in Union City.
Selected as pallbearers were Larry Hunter, Dewey and Dewayne Eason, Dalton Wilson, Jerry and Ben Taylor and Josh Lewis.
Visitation was Saturday and Sunday.
Taylor-Gibbs, 71, died Friday, July 5, 2013, at Plumley Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Union City on July 1, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Henry Bryant "Red" and Beulah Zell Chappell Webb.
She was married to Clifford Thomas Taylor, who died May 6, 1991.
A family member said she enjoyed traveling and camping.
She leaves two daughters: Vicki (Dewey) Eason of Henry and Lisa Taylor Lewis of Paris; one stepdaughter: Pat (Robert) McClure of Paris; two stepsons: Jerry Taylor of Paris and David (Kim) Taylor Memphis;
One sister: Ann Hooper of Union City; nine grandchildren: Josh Lewis, Dalton Wilson, DeWayne Eason, Ben Taylor, Jerrod Taylor and Cliff Taylor, Tammy Nance, Mark McClure, Shawnda West; 10 great-grandchildren; and companion of 20 years: Bob Gibbs of McKenzie.
She also was preceded in death by a stepson: Tommy Taylor; and a sister: Betty Maxey.
