She was born Nov. 10, 1921, in Surry County to Leonard Denny and Martha Denny.
She was a retired waitress and a member of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Walker is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Donald L. and Carole Walker of Pfafftown; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Walker of Pilot Mountain; a grandson, Forrest Walker of Pilot Mountain; a granddaughter, Tara Smitherman and her husband Nick of East Bend; and two great-granddaughters, Cierra Smitherman and Abigail Rae Smitherman of East Bend.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Gray Walker.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Troy Phillips, the Rev. Zeno Groce and Pastor Tim Gammons officiating.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today, Dec. 7, at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Pilot Mountain City Cemetery.
