Mrs. Mary May See, 86, of Route 3, Peru, Indiana died on Monday July 25, 1960 at 11:45 am at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ora Correll, 516 E. Moroe. She had been ill for two days after suffering a myocardial infarction (MI aka heart attack).
She had spent her lifetime in Miami County. She was a member of of the First Baptist Church.
She was born in Miami County June 27, 1874, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Cooper. She was married in 1900 to Noah See, who is deceased.
Surviving with the daughter, Mrs. Correll are three sons and another daughter, Glenn, at home; Robert See and Mrs. William Townsend, Peru and Raymond See; 30 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. A daughter and several half-sisters are deceased.
Funeral Services will be held from the Drake-Flowers Chapel at 1:30 pm Thursday. The Rev. Rudell Sparks will officiate and burial will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery, north of Denver.
