CHARLES A. BELL
Charles A. Bell, 78, died last evening at his home after an illness of several weeks. He was born in Colrain, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Bell and came to Greenfield 32 years ago. He followed the vocation of a stationary engineer and during the latter part of his life was employed by Greenfield Electric Light and Power company. He is survived by his wife and three children, William A. Bell of this town, John A. Bell of Springfield and Mrs. George L. Cowan of Turners Falls. Three sisters also survive, Mrs. George F. Williams of Leyden, Mrs. Delia White of Guilford, Vt., and Mrs. Cora J. Frary of Springfield. The funeral will be held at the house, 12 Devens street Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
