Angelo Domenico Bruzzese, 78, of Stroud Township and formerly of Long Pond, died Monday afternoon, June 24, at Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of the late Rosalie (Ciaccio) Bruzzese who died January 18th of this year.
Born on July 31, 1934 in Calabria, Italy, he lived in Monroe County since 1987 moving from Corona, Queens County, NY.
He was a mason and worked for the city of New York.
Angelo was a member of the Sons of Italy.
Surviving are: two step-sons, John Iacono and his wife Heather with whom he lived in Stroud Township and Mark Iacono and his wife Kim of Georgia and four step-grandchildren, Kayla, Christina, Amanda and John Iacono.
There will be a viewing from 6:00 to 8:00PM Thursday, June 27, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM Friday, June 28, at St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church, 200 Brodhead Avenue, East Stroudsburg with the Rev. Joseph Kutch as celebrant. Entombment will follow in Mountainview Mausoleum at Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg.
