NINA LYNCH ADA-Services for Nina Ruth Lynch, 94, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, at Trinity Baptist Church, Dr. Rusty Fuller and Rev. David Gray will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home. Mrs. Lynch died Saturday, July 6, 2013 at a local hospital. She was born December 1, 1918 in Steedman, Oklahoma to James Wesley and Manda Maude Davis Edwards. She was educated by her many life experiences that included farming the bottoms of the North Canadian River valley, traveling the Mother Road and working in wartime industry, surviving Depressions and Dust Bowls. She married Johnnie Lynch on September 22, 1935. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1978. Mrs. Lynch worked retail jobs in Ada, including Woolsworth, McClures Bakery and TG & Y from its opening day until her retirement in 1981. She was an avid reader and historian, enjoyed cross-stitch and bird watching for hobbies and she was a longtime active member of Trinity Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Joel Lynch and his wife Leona of Fritch, TX, and Kevin Lynch and his wife Debbie of Ada; her grandchildren, Darla Jameson, Fritch, TX, Kyle Lynch, Canadian, TX, Cory Lynch, Panhandle, TX, Shane Lynch, Ada, and Ryne Lynch, Ada; her great grandchildren, Shelby and Logan Jameson, Fritch, TX, Tyler and Matthew Lynch, Canadian, TX, Kaden and Colter Lynch, Panhandle, TX, Bayler Black and Tate Lynch of Ada. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sisters, Marstela Edwards, Elva Selby and Jean Smalling; and brothers, William Edwards and Jimmy Edwards.
